I’m Jillian Lainey. A midwest girl with a wanderlust heart creating stories full of emotional depth, complex yet relatable characters, and just enough humor to keep things fun!
Jillian currently resides in the Chicago suburbs where she loves spending her time with family and friends, going to country concerts, and traveling to as many new places as she can.
Her love for writing goes back to high school, when she decided to submit Backstreet Boys fanfiction to the fan-club forum, and watched it quickly become the highest rated story on the site. She credits this experience with jumpstarting a two decade love affair with words, dialogue, and character development. As an introverted Enneagram 7, Jillian loves sipping on a strong cup of coffee, enjoying a margarita or glass of red wine, one-on-one quality conversations, and cozying up with a fuzzy blanket and a good book. She hopes to write fun, exciting, and entertaining dramatic romances full of life, heart, and happily- ever-afters.
